Rosslare Europort to Wexford Town by Coach or Minibus
Rosslare Europort is the south-east's ferry port, with sailings from Fishguard and Pembroke Dock in Wales and from France and Spain. Wexford town is about 20 km north on the N25. The drive is short; meeting the sailing is the part that needs planning.

Meeting the ferry
For foot passengers, the main terminal building is the meeting point. The port's bus facilities are outside the main terminal building, with the taxi rank at the front, and this is where a coach meets a group. Give the operator the ferry company, the route and the scheduled arrival. Arrivals move with the weather, so the operator follows the actual docking time. Tell the group leader where to gather inside the terminal so the coach is loaded in one go.
Bags, bikes and a long crossing
Ferry passengers often travel with more than a flight allows: large cases, cool boxes and sports kit. On this coast, add bicycles, as the port sits on the EuroVelo 1 Atlantic Coast cycle route. Bikes need a coach with clear underfloor space or a separate van, so tell the operator how many. Passengers off a long sailing from France or Spain, or an early Welsh crossing, are tired, and a short run straight to the hotel is usually what they want.
The road to Wexford
The N25 runs from the port at Rosslare Harbour north, passing west of Tagoat and Rosslare, to the edge of Wexford town, about 25 minutes in normal traffic. The town centre is a tight street plan behind the Quay, and the main hotels are on the Quay, at Ferrycarrig on the Slaney north of the town, and at Rosslare Strand. Send the hotel names when you book. Where a coach cannot reach the door in the old streets, the driver confirms the nearest stop.
What if the ferry is late or the sailing is cancelled?
Tell the operator which sailing you are booked on. The pickup follows the actual arrival; if a sailing is cancelled and the group moves to a later one, send the new time as soon as you have it. Terms for changes are on the quote.
Is there a train from the port to Wexford?
Yes. Rosslare Europort station is about a seven-minute walk from the terminal, on the line to Wexford and Dublin Connolly, with a handful of trains each way a day. A coach suits groups with luggage, or a sailing that does not match the timetable.
Can the coach take us straight on to Waterford or Dublin?
Yes. The N25 continues west to New Ross and Waterford, and the N11 and M11 run north to Dublin. Book the longer transfer from the port rather than changing vehicles in Wexford.
