Limerick to Adare Manor by Coach or Minibus
Adare Manor is a private hotel and golf estate in Adare village, about 16 km south-west of Limerick. Groups make this run for weddings, golf, dinners and stays at the resort. Because the estate admits only its patrons, the booking starts with the resort reservation, then the coach is planned around it.

The run from Limerick
From the city the coach heads south on the M20 to Patrickswell and continues on the N21 into Adare. The village sits on the main road to Kerry, and the N21 can be slow through it at busy times. From hotels on the Ennis Road side of the city, or from Shannon Airport, the quickest line goes under the Shannon through the Limerick Tunnel on the N18, which is tolled. Tell the operator where the group is staying, because the start point decides the route.
Access to the estate
Adare Manor is open to patrons of the resort: people staying, dining or shopping there. It is not open to the public for general visits, so a coach full of sightseers without a booking will not be admitted. Wedding parties, conference guests and golfers come through on the resort's own arrangements. Ask the resort which entrance and set-down point to use, and pass that to the operator. The driver confirms the stopping point on arrival.
Wedding shuttles and late returns
A wedding usually needs a run out in the early afternoon and more than one return in the evening, so older guests can leave early and the rest stay late. Collect from as few Limerick hotels as you can, and list them with the times when you ask for a quote. Late returns are the part most often underbooked. Set them by the venue's finishing time, not the guests' best guess.
Visiting Adare village instead
If the group wants the thatched cottages and the village rather than the estate, the Adare Heritage Centre on Main Street has a large car park at the rear that is suitable for coaches, with free parking and restrooms. It is open daily, so it works as the set-down and collection point for a walk around the village.
Can our coach just drive into Adare Manor to look around?
No. The estate admits only patrons who are staying, dining or shopping there. Book with the resort first, then arrange the coach around that booking.
Is there a car service from Limerick to Adare Manor?
Yes. For one to three guests, a chauffeur car with a driver makes the same run. Book the resort first and the car around it, as you would a coach.
Is there a toll between Limerick and Adare?
Not from the city centre on the M20. From Shannon Airport or the north-west side of the city, the fastest route uses the Limerick Tunnel, which is tolled.
