Dublin Airport to Dublin City Centre by Coach or Minibus
The airport is about 10 to 12 km north of the city centre, and the transfer takes about 30 minutes, more in the rush hour. Most groups on this run are arriving: conference delegates, sports teams, school tours and wedding guests heading to a hotel. The pickup at the airport is the part to plan.

Private-hire coaches and minibuses may not wait outside either terminal. They collect in Zone 16, a coach park signposted from both terminals. From Terminal 1 the group crosses to the short-term car park and walks through its ground floor. From Terminal 2 they take the covered bridge from arrivals, go down the escalator and follow the covered walkway. Send these directions to the group leader before the flight.
Two ways into town
From the airport the coach takes the M1 south. For hotels in the docklands, the Convention Centre or the 3Arena, the Dublin Port Tunnel is the direct line, and coaches with more than 25 seats use it without a toll. For O'Connell Street, Parnell Square and the south side, the route through Drumcondra is often as quick. The 30 minutes holds off-peak; arrivals that land into the morning or evening peak can take up to 45.
Arriving at the hotel
Many city-centre hotels have no space for a coach at the door. The driver uses the nearest signed coach stop or a legal spot on the street to unload, and the group walks the last stretch with their bags. The bus gates on the central quays and College Green limit how a coach crosses the centre, so tell the operator the hotel name early and it will plan the drop around them.

Can we drop at two hotels?
Yes, if both are listed at booking. Each stop adds time in city traffic, so for a big group in two hotels close together, one stop and a short walk is often quicker.
