Bray to Dublin Airport by Coach or Minibus
Groups leaving Bray for Dublin Airport are usually heading home after a stay on the Wicklow coast or at a south Dublin hotel. The run takes about 45 minutes on the M11 and M50. What sets the departure time is the bag-drop closing time of the earliest flight in the group.

The road north
From Bray the coach takes the M11 north, which runs straight into the M50 near Shankill, and follows the western side of the ring road up to the airport junction. On that line it crosses the tolled stretch of the M50 near Blanchardstown and Lucan. Nothing stops the coach there: the toll is settled by tag, account or online by 8pm the following day. Going through the city and the Dublin Port Tunnel avoids it, but from the south that is rarely faster. Weekday peaks on the M50, roughly 7 to 9am and 4 to 6pm, can add twenty minutes.
Setting down at the terminals
Buses and coaches are not allowed on the Terminal 1 departures road. Coaches set down on the inner departures road directly outside Terminal 2 check-in, and has to move off as soon as the group and the bags are out. Anyone checking in at Terminal 1 has a few minutes on foot from that kerb, longer with a loaded trolley. Tell us which terminal each part of the group needs, so the drop and the walk are built into the timing.
Bags decide the vehicle
On an airport run the luggage hold fills before the seats do. A full-size coach has underfloor bays for a whole party with a suitcase each. A small minibus can run out of room if everyone brings a large case, and golf bags, buggies or sports kit change the sum again. Give the operator a count of large cases and awkward items with your passenger numbers, so the vehicle is chosen for the bags as well as the people.
How early should we leave Bray for a morning flight?
Work back from the bag-drop closing time, not the departure time. Add the 45-minute run, the walk from the Terminal 2 set-down, and 20 to 30 minutes if the run falls in the weekday morning peak on the M50. Very early starts are usually close to the guide time.
Can the coach collect from several places in Bray?
Extra pickups can be planned if you list them when you ask for the quote. Each one adds a few minutes, and some streets near the seafront are tight for a full-size coach, so a single meeting point at the hotel or on the seafront keeps the timing predictable.
